In an ordinary bottle, as the ink drops below a certain level, drawing the
ink into the dispenser becomes more difficult. The needle does not reach deep
enough to dip into the ink. Users tilt the bottle but the procedure is fraught
with difficulty as one hand is delegated to ensure the proper degree of tilt and
therefore is removed from the dispenser. Or… the same hand is both tilting the
bottle and holding the dispenser. The possibility of spillage increases and
there is potential for some wastage when the ink level is at its lowest.
But……"Harm not yourself with vexation" (Shakespeare,
Cymbeline, act 1), a solution is at hand with the Easy Fill Bottle.
The Easy Fill Bottle is both simple and ingenious. It has two
intercommunicating compartments, A (main) and B (delivery). Ink is normally
stored in the main compartment A. When ready to draw out the ink, you simply
open slightly cap B1 that closes the delivery compartment B. You then gently
squeeze the bottle – ink is moved from compartment A to B via the outside tube
C. The main compartment A is graduated in ounces and milliliters, so you always
precisely know how much ink you have left. Delivery compartment B is graduated
in milliliters to ensure ink measurement accuracy.
Once the ink is drawn from compartment B into the dispenser, simply close cap
B1 and the Easy Fill Bottle is ready for your next use.
