Some Canon jet print cartridges contain their own printing element, some are available with or without a separate
printing element. Most Canon inks contain a glycol additive that prevents
the ink from drying on the printing element. Unlike HP single color jet print cartridges which contain no sponge and rely on negative pressure for delivering ink to the
printing element, Canon black jet print cartridges rely on a sponge to retain ink.
Canon
jet print cartridges are very easy to renew and reliable. It is
true that early Canon jet print cartridges (I mean new cartridges) could only print so many pages at a time before becoming overheated and quit printing. This problem has
since been resolved.
With use the inside sponge(s) tends to dry and to accept less
ink during re-inking. Our
instructions show how to revive the sponge when it becomes too dry. Some Canon
jet print cartridges (for example BC-60) use both ink and a clear optimizer fluid. Optimizer fluid, as well as ink is supplied with the specific applicable
jet ink printer refill kit.
Conclusion? Dare to renew your own Canon jet print cartridges with confidence and join the legions of
Canon jet ink printer users worldwide who do and have done it already.
